Cast iron protection for ALL our customers
All the Pissup businesses are owned by the British company e-Blok Ltd. (http://e-blok.com). Because we are legally based within the European Union you benefit from knowing that we must comply with strict EU consumer protection rules, including those set out by the EC Travel Directive (90/314/EEC) that ensure your compensation rights and financial security. We must also comply with local regulations as appropriate e.g. the UK Package Travel Regulations 1992.
These set out our responsibilities to UK citizens and remedies available should there be a breach of the regulations. Part of these rules instruct us how to deal with your deposits - we must put all your money into a bond account administered by an independent UK Chartered Accountant until your holiday has been satisfactorily completed. In laymen terms, this means that whatever happens, your money is totally safe when you book through us.
Finally, our holidays also include free 'Travel Protection Insurance'. This covers every person in your group for losses up to £11,000 per person (or Euro equivalent) in the event that either we or any of our suppliers are unable to fulfil our obligations. This isn't required by law but we want our service to be better than everybody else's.
