Rooms: Each apartment has a shower, WC, kitchen, fridge and 50 channel cable TV. The rooms are small and beds a bit knobbly, but it's OK for groups who just need somewhere to crash.

Facilities: Beauty parlour, medicinal massage, safety box at the reception (free of charge), dentist and souvenir shops. In the “Phönix Cocktail Lounge” there is an excellent band and a spectacular show that provide good entertainment.

What you should be warned about if booking on your own
- You will be sharing the hotel with lots of wild stag groups if you book with an operator who only offers a limited choice of 3 or 4 hotels.
- many hostels and apartments have curfews, which means you have to be back by 11pm, and often don't have 24hr reception for security.
- You might be asked for a damages deposit of up to GBP 25 on arrival, which may not be returned.
- you might be charged 100% cancellation fees, or amendments to your booking may not be possible.
- you might have to make 100% payment in advance, leaving you out of pocket.
