Are you sure you don’t want to travel with Europe’s no. 1 stag break specialist?
Warsaw is the capital and largest city of Poland and is situated in the centre of the country. It is home to approximately 1.7 million residents and is a city that has very much forged a new identity over the last 70 years. Approximately 95% of the city was destroyed in WWII and as a result modern and contemporary architecture now dominates the city’s urban landscape. Whilst it may not be and quaint and pretty like Krakow and Gdansk, it offers some serious value for money and bargains can be found in every department. It offers some of the cheapest 4 and 5 star hotels in Europe (which also usually include breakfast) and the best nightlife that Eastern Europe has to offer outside of Moscow. It also offers some of the classier strip clubs that the Pissup team have been to. The girls are stunning. The best bargain of all is the price of booze. The price of a pint of beer in some of the more exclusive joints in town average £1.50 – £2. However, you can find drinks for a fraction of this price in some venues, with vodka, wine and beer starting from as little as 60p! … what are you waiting for?!
Whilst the drinking may dominate a stag weekend, what usually dominates memories of the weekend itself are the pranks pulled on the future groom. A Warsaw stag do offers some of the best pranks and activities that we offer. We STRONGLY recommend scaring the living daylights out of him by having him abducted. Just as he thinks he’s been plundered into Warsaw’s underworld, we surprise him with a nice treat, producing a stunning young lady who takes all her clothes off for him. You lot get to watch it all! In addition to this Pissup will take you to the local indoor go-kart track or to the local gun range where you can shoot AK47s …brraaap!
Check the ‘activities page’ to see our full range.
Warsaw hosts some very nice venues that offer a large selection of both Polish and European beers. Piw Paw offers the largest selection whilst a short trip across the river, Osp Saska Kepa is a bar, café and fire station (yes really!) which offers another impressive variety. If you miss home comforts and fancy being a stereotypical Brit abroad and chomping down some fish n chips whilst watching the footie, fight or rugga then head to Legends or Someplace Else. If you fancy a raw and unique experience then head to the courtyard behind Nowy Swiat. Here gritty and bizarre bars are sandwiched in between second hand stores and pet shops and booze is as low as 60p. Locals know it as ‘The Pavilions’ (Pawilony) or ‘The Secret Garden’ and the clientele comprises of predominantly students and artistic types.
Warsaw has best nightlife in Poland. High quality clubs and bars can be found at very reasonable prices. The crowds that populate these chic hangouts are just as cool as the venues themselves. The ladies are also very receptive of gentlemen from Britain. Enklawa on a street named Mazowiecka is one such example. If this isn’t your cup of tea then there are plenty more choices in this area.
If you are after a bit more glitz and glamour and want to dress to impress then The Panorama Bar and Lounge situated on the 40th Floor of the Marriot Hotel offers amazing views of the city. The Platinum Club is also one of the most exclusive places in town. The door policy here is slightly strict, so you’re best advised to split into smaller groups and BE ON YOUR BEST BEHAVIOUR!!
We had an amazing evening. Our guides were fantastic and really made a huge effort to make sure everyone in the group had a good time. And the places they organised for us were also super. Joanna and Suzanna were perfect hosts, and I would definitely recommend to my friends. Michael
