Wroclaw City Guide for Stag Weekends

Situated in the west of the country and with a population of approximately 632,000 Wroclaw is the fourth largest city in Poland behind Warsaw and Krakow. Stunningly located on the Odra River, the city is built on 12 islands that are connected by over 100 bridges. It is also home to the second largest market square in the world and striking architecture influenced by Bohemian, Austrian and Prussian traditions. Being quite a compact city almost all of the city’s landmarks, bars, pubs and clubs are within walking distance from the main square. Getting to Wroclaw

Ryanair make the 2hr 05 min direct flight from London Stansted on a daily basis and seats can be found from as little as £41 return. While Wizz Air do not fly as frequently as their Irish competitors, their seats can be booked for a similar price departing from London Luton.

Polished beer prices!

Although a lovely looking city, Wroclaw’s prices remain very low. Four star hotels can be found for as little as £37 a night and include breakfast. Additionally restaurants boast top quality nosh for a fraction of the prices back home. Booze is very cheap too and you can get tanked up on strong beers such a Tyskie for as little as £1 a bottle!

Awesome daytime activities in Wroclaw

At 200m high, the Sky Tower offers great panoramic views of the city and in between seeing the sites of the Old Town and Ostrów Tumski, we have an exclusive selection of daytime activities that will keep you busy until nightfall. One activity that we strongly recommend on a Wroclaw stag do is a lazy cruise on the river. If you are feeling a bit more energetic then we offer indoor football, laser tag, golf and zorbing!

Doing it after dark

Wroclaw has a population of 130,000 students, the majority of whom love to party! The majority of the city’s bars are concentrated around the market square of the Old Town. Niebo Café is a popular destination that pumps out classic rock and 90s anthems, whilst Bezsenność is one of the city’s more decadent and sophisticated night spots. Alternatively if you fancy a bet opposed to a boogie, Pissup will take you to one of Wroclaw’s top casinos where you will receive three free drinks and €10 of chips.
