Catch a glimpse of a number of shows like gruelling sword fighting matches and fire juggling performances from professionals. Take a guided tour of the grounds learning the interesting stories about the past characters who lived there and the impact they had.

This is an action packed evening time activity for a stag who's viking obsessed in Barcelona. You don't want him to miss out on this.

What To Expect

The medieval feast will take place at Requesens Palace, which was built in the Gothic period and is now the headquarters of the Royal Academy of Letters and the Galería de Catalanes Ilustres. The building itself is centrally located in Barcelona's Gothic Quarter.

Upon your bachelor party's arrival, you'll be greeted by one of the palace's staff with a glass of cava each. Cava is sparkling Spanish wine, and boy, is it delicious.

First, you'll be given a guided tour of the historic palace itself. Roam around discovering the unique forms of architecture and listen to anecdotes and snippets about what has gone on between the its walls since it was built in the 13th century. Learn about the fascinating life of Elisabeth of Requesens, Vice queen of Naples, and the mysterious history of the palace, its terrace, and the tower where you can catch a great view of the Gothic Quarter. It has only been open to the public this season. What a time to visit.

Next up is an intense sword fight out show in the main courtyard. Stand by and watch a taxing dual between two professionals. Get your phones ready because it's going to be a tight one.

Now for the best part, lads, the Medieval style four course dinner served in Tinellet Hall. Here's an example of what you can expect.

Starters

  • Fresh fruit cut.
  • "Piment" (drink spiced wine).

Second course (three tastings)

  • Orange duck salad.
  • Pie strudel of spinach and pine nuts.
  • Meat stew crèpe.

Main course

  • Stuffed meal with cinnamon, orange and staranise.

Dessert

  • Almonds and honey coolant withhazelnut cream.

This is the Tinellet menu. You can choose from other set meals in the add ons.

While you boys are munching, there will be some soft music playing in the background to make you feel like you're a real Vice-queen guests. Royalty or what?

Before you head home, there's one more little surprise in store. Check out some Arab dancers performing a world class fire juggling show. You're going to be in awe, trust us.

Unfortunately, as soon as the clock hits 22:15, it's time to depart from the palace. What you will do after is up to you, but we have one recommendation you'll like. Let us organize a complimentary nightclub entrance for your bachelor party into the Opium Club, one of Barcelona's most famous nightclubs that overlooks the beautiful Mediterranean Ocean. We'll throw in a complimentary drink for each group member to say thanks for booking.
