You’ve heard of beer bikes, right? Well, in Porto, we put our own spin on it. Grab your friends and get ready. You're going to be pedalling around the outskirts of Porto for a whole hour while consuming lots of sangria along the way.

But this isn't just a few glasses, it's all the fruity sangria you can handle. Yes, really. You can drink as much as you like within one hour. But try to pace yourselves. You’ll need to make sure the bike (and the group) makes it back in one piece.

We’ve planned a fun route for you. You’ll get to see a different side of Porto on this one-hour sangria bike ride. We start at Mercado da Foz. Then we head down towards the water at Av. Brazil. Next, we move towards Jardim do Molhe. Finally, we loop back to the start. We'll pass through Praça de Liége on the final stretch on the way back.

Our bike is designed for maximum fun. It has a Bluetooth sound system. You can hook your phone up and play your favourite tunes. No need to worry about noise complaints. One of our fun guides will be on board to keep your spirits high as you take the hills. They'll lead the way and make sure nobody leaves the bike sober, especially the groom!

Since the sangria bike ride doesn’t take place in the city centre, you’ll need to get to the departure point yourself. It’s about a 30-minute bus ride or a 20-minute car ride away from the Porto city centre. The location is in the Foz do Douro area. We'll send you the exact details closer to the date.

• There is space for up to 8 people on each of our beer bikes. If your group is bigger than 8, please let us know, and we will try to find a solution.
