Looking for a unique way to explore Düsseldorf on your stag? Join our covered wagon tour to ride around in style.

Hop in the back of one of these little old-style carts and enjoy being driven around by a tractor. You’ll get special permission from the state’s governing body to cruise around in these wacky wagons, which are slowly pulled along at a slow pace by a tractor. They only travel at around 10 to 12 km/h, but that’s all part of the fun. You’re welcome to bring your own food and drinks on board, so you can get a bit messy along the way, and there’s even a speaker on board to play some banging tunes.

In total, the wagon can hold up to 28 people, making it a great option for larger stag parties looking to add something a bit different to the weekend. You get to choose both the start and drop-off points, so if you want to be picked up at a parking lot near your accommodation and dropped off at a restaurant for some pork knuckle and beer, that’s absolutely doable.

Since it’s your mate’s stag, we know you’ll probably want to decorate the wagon. You’re free to put up whatever decorations you like, as long as everything is removed afterwards. There are already lights on board, so it’s fairly flashy to begin with. But when it’s a stag do, embarrassing the groom at every possible opportunity is part of your job as the best man.

What You Should Know Before Booking This Activity

We’ll make sure the wagon is heated when it’s cold, which can happen during autumn, spring, or winter.
If you have a larger group, we’ll add extra wagons to make sure there’s enough space for everyone.
Smoking is allowed on board, but please bring an ashtray. Glass is not permitted on the wagon.
There’s no bar inside, so make sure you bring all the alcohol you’ll need in advance.
A deposit of between €50 and €100 is required beforehand and will be returned after the activity, as long as nothing is damaged inside the wagon.
