Wine Hike in Düsseldorf

Head off on an outdoor adventure for your stag do with a wine hike in Düsseldorf. Discover the raw beauty of the German countryside while drinking lots of tasty vino.

Over the course of three and a half hours, you'll trek through rugged mountains while sampling four exquisite wines and discovering lots of interesting facts about how they're created. In between, there will be plenty of stops for quiz games and watching videos with different visuals about the production of everyone's favourite drink!

You go as fast or as slow as you like, as everything is done on your phone without the need for a physical guide. It's just you lads and the open trails.

What to Expect

Before the day of your activity, our team will send you a cooling rucksack containing the four wines. You can use this on the day to carry them on your hike and keep them chilled. It can also be used to store some of your belongings if you want. Each group of six will receive a rucksack, and the amount of wine in the bag will be for that group. For groups with more than six, you'll be sent another rucksack.

Four days before the activity, we will send you an application to download with login details. This will serve as your guide, with all the wine stations you need to follow. Plus, any videos you'll need to watch on the day will also be played through this app, so don't forget to download it.

In total, the hike should take about 3.5 hours, but it depends on your fitness level and how many times you stop. You'll be taken through stunningly remote areas of Germany, past mountains and serene rivers. However, make sure you have appropriate clothing and footwear, as the terrain is rugged.

What You Should Know Before Booking This Activity

• Make sure to bring plenty of snacks and water on the day, as you'll be in the countryside.
• Private transfers aren't included to the trail head, but we can arrange it for you if you need.
• This experience is only available in German.
• Groups are allowed to keep the rucksacks afterwards.
• Disposable wine glasses and shoulder bags are also included.
