Absinthe is one drink every lad claims he can drink but when it comes to crunch time, he disappears into the toilet. However, with this bachelor party activity, there's nowhere to hide.

Pissup's one hour absinthe tasting in Prague takes place in the heart of the city centre, close to the Old Town Square. A local guide will take you to one of the coolest local bars to try out some seriously good absinthe with two 0.4 litre shots included. Don't get too carried away now, boys; you'll have an absinthe made cocktail to consume, too. Three shots of pure 65% alcohol. Will you be able to hold it all down?

The Czechs are quite fond of a couple of glasses of absinthe themselves, so you're in the right place to savour some of the green potions! Even if someone in your group isn't a big drinker, it's a fascinating experience to see how ingrained absinthe is in the Czech culture.

What To Expect

On the day of your activity, your guide will meet you at your stag party at an agreed location in the city centre to take you to the bar where the tasting will take place. Usually, it's your hotel as long as it's centrally located.

The local bar you'll visit is beside the Old Town Square, so you won't have to saunter too far to get your hands on some absinthe.

At the bar, a table will be reserved for your group. The reservation will be for one hour in total; that's plenty of time for you to consume three drinks, right?

Your package will include three drinks per person. You'll get two 0.4 litre shots of La Corneille verte Absinth each as well as an absinhe-based cocktail from the menu.

Afterwards, you can stay in the bar if you wish as long as there's some availability, but if there's not, you'll find plenty of vibrant venues in the area to continue on the stag do shenanigans. Even better, join one of our bar crawls!

What You Should Know Before Booking This Activity

• Everyone participating in the absinthe tasting should arrive at the bar in a normal state. Drunk people won't be accepted. Absinthe is very strong, so you may not be able to hold it down after a rake of pints.
• You can book this experience until 8:00 PM every day.
