Think you can fight? Let’s see how strong you really are with our Prague MMA session. Train alongside your group for 75 minutes during your stag party and get a full lesson in how to take down your opponent.
If you've ever dreamed of stepping into the octagon, this activity is for you! Learn the basics of mixed martial arts with the help of a professional MMA coach and get some practice in so you can show your soon-to-be wife that you can protect her.
You'll be taught all the key moves, including grappling, wrestling and striking. No previous MMA experience is required, as all skill levels are welcome. By the end of this, you'll be the next Jon Jones!
What to Expect
To get started, the trainer will provide all the gear you need for the session. This includes pads, gloves and your own mouthguard, which you can take home with you afterwards. Then, it's straight into the warm-up to get you ready for battle.
At the beginning, you'll be shown the essential fighting stances before moving on to punches, kicks and knee strikes. These will be practised in pairs, with one of you holding the pads while the other works on their technique. The coach will monitor you throughout and show you how to hit with more power with each strike.
From there, you'll move on to wrestling and grappling. This is where you'll practise your takedowns, learn how to move effectively on the ground and discover how to put your opponent into those chokeholds you see in the UFC.
If you feel comfortable at the end, you can even try sparring with each other and find out who the real alpha male of the group is. You didn't learn these moves for nothing, boys!
While you might be tempted to punch the life out of each other, don't get too carried away with yourselves. The aim isn't to knock someone out. Instead, you'll learn some real MMA skills that you can use to defend yourselves.
At the end, we'll take a photo of your group covered in sweat and crown the real king of the cage. Just remember that isn't a green light to start fighting everyone later that night in the club!
