Skiing Is The Next Best Thing To Having Wings

Want to hit the Czech slopes for your boy's stag do? Have a once in a lifetime experience skiing and snowboarding near Prague. Put your jacket on and head to Ještěd about 90 minutes by car from the capital. There, you'll have a state of the art ski resort and a qualified ski instructor waiting for you who knows the sport like the back of their hand and will teach you the skills you'll need to be able to take on these intense slopes. Do you think your boys have what it takes for five whole hours of skiing at one of the Czech Republic's best resorts? It's time to find out.

This activity is ideal for a group looking to get a hit of adrenaline before a night of drinking in the city.

What To Expect

Your group will be met by an English speaking guide at your hotel, and they'll take you in a seated motor vehicle to a world class skiing resort located in Ještěd, ninety minutes drive from Prague. Make sure everyone has brought their goggles.

Once your stag group arrives, you'll be greeted by a fully experienced English speaking skiing instructor who will look after you all for the day.  They'll give you a breakdown of how things will go, what you should all expect, and some refreshments to calm the nerves. Everyone will have to rent their own ski gear before starting their session. It's not included in the price.

After, the guide will give each person their ski passes and take you to the slopes, where the fun will begin. The instructor will show everyone the slopes, and you can decide which ones are for you. Don't get too confident now, or you might regret it. In total, the stag group has five hours on the slopes and some time to eat lunch and rest if they like. By the end, you will all be absolutely wrecked.

After your insane skiing experience, the group will return their rented gear, and then the guide will take you back to Prague to your hotel, where you can prepare for that night's antics.

What You Should Know Before Booking The Skiing Experience

  • Make sure everyone in the group wears warm clothing. Bring a warm jacket, skiing trousers, gloves, fleeces, and thermals — everything you need. Leave the shorts behind, lads.
  • Your clothing, insurance, and ski rentals are not included. Before you arrive, make sure you organize the appropriate insurance and clothing. For ski rentals, you can get them at the resort on the same day.
