What To Expect

Start your tour in the heart of Brussels alongside your passionate guide, who's an absolute expert when it comes to beer. They'll tell you some historical anecdotes as you walk through the city to tasting spots. Be aware that the tour will finish outside the centre, around a 15-minute walk from the Grand Palace, nothing you won't be able to handle after a few brews.

Learn some interesting facts about beer and how the special yeast has an effect on the taste by sampling some for yourselves. That crispy flavour will have you begging for more.

In total, you'll visit three different types of locations: from an old Brussels brown bar to a brewery that calls itself the playground of Brewin Taste 5 high-quality crafted beers, from limited editions to more traditional brews 🍻. Be surprised how the flavour of beer changes when paired with some amazing local delicacies like chocolates or other sweets. Throughout the experience, your guide will also provide you with tailored bar and restaurant recommendations, so you’ll know all the best places to eat and drink while in Brussels.

Food is also involved, so there will be some flavorful pairings with local delicacies and chocolates.

Another key highlight is the beer quiz, where your knowledge of every man’s favourite drink will be put to the test. Think you know your way around the best brews in the fridge? We’re about to find out.

If all of that wasn’t enough, you’ll also have your own personal photographer to join you for the entire tour, taking snaps of you all guzzling away and capturing those memorable moments on your lads’ weekend.

This tour lasts for 2.5 hours in total, so make sure you allocate enough time and are in no rush to get back.

At the end of the tour, the guide challenges the group with a beer quiz, which promises plenty of laughs and lots of fun. As a bonus: the winning team will be awarded an extra beer gift! The best way to end this tour, right!?

What Times Is This Activity Available?

• Saturday at 12:30 pm or 16:30 pm
• All other weekdays from 17:00 pm

For groups with fewer than eight people, we also have a public tour on Fridays at 19:00 pm with an English-speaking guide. We don't run tours on Sundays, unless requested by groups. If the reservation is before 14:30 pm, there won't be a brewery visit on the schedule.

What You Should Know Before Booking This Activity

• If your group is larger than 16 participants, please let us know so we can try to arrange something with the guide.
• Please arrive at the meeting point five minutes before the departure time so everything runs smoothly.
• Be sure to eat beforehand as food portions are small.
• Nobody is allowed to show up to the activity drunk, or they'll be refused.
• All participants must be over 18 years old as there's alcoholic consumption involved.
• The tour is available in English, French, German, and Dutch, but it depends on which tour guide is operating the tour during the day.
• Everything is on foot, so be sure to wear comfortable shoes and a jacket just in case it's raining.
