You know how a typical pub crawl works. A guide takes you around the city’s bars, you have a few drinks, and then move on to the next stop. Ours is a little different. Of course, there’s still plenty of drinking involved, but we’ve added an extra layer of fun with a story that you follow throughout the night.

Instead of having a physical guide, you’ll use your phone to follow the route, discover different bars around Vienna, and take on fun challenges along the way. Expect crazy tasks and unique personalities assigned to each member of your group.

There’s no need to rush around either. Once you enter your code and hit play on the app, you’ll have 48 hours to complete everything. Take your time, knock back a few cold ones and explore Vienna at your own pace without a guide rushing you.

What to Expect

To get started, you'll have to log into the app using the code we send you beforehand. You’ll then receive your route, which takes you through some of Vienna’s coolest bars and includes different challenges at each of them.

Most groups take around 2–3 hours to finish the route, which covers approximately 2–2.5 km on foot. Before you head out, make sure everyone in the group has a fully charged phone with mobile data, as this is needed to take part. If someone forgets, they won’t be able to join in, so give everyone a reminder ahead of time.

There’s no set start time, so you can kick things off whenever suits your group. However, we recommend starting after 5 PM when the atmosphere is at its best. You can also take breaks whenever you like. Stop for a pint or five and continue when you’re ready. After all, you have 48 hours to finish everything, so there’s no need to rush!
