Combine two of your favourite sports with a game of soccer bowling on your stag in Cologne. Swap the bowling balls for footballs and see how many pins you can knock down. Combine two of your favourite sports with a game of soccer bowling on your stag in Cologne. Swap the bowling balls for footballs and see how many pins you can knock down.
You'll have two bowling lanes reserved just for your group, giving you 90 minutes to battle it out and see who comes out on top. We'll also throw in some drinks, with the choice of a 10-litre keg of Kölsch beer or one case of soft drinks. There's Bluetooth connectivity too, so you can hook up your own phone, play some tunes and get everyone in the party mood.
What to Expect
Soccer bowling is pretty much like normal bowling, except you ditch the bowling balls and use a football instead. Just kick the ball towards the pins and try to knock down as many as possible. Same rules, just a different ball.
The group is split into two, with half of you on one lane and the other half on the second. You then have an hour and a half to compete against each other. The faster you knock down the pins, the more games you'll have time for!
You can let us know beforehand whether you'd prefer the 10-litre keg of Kölsch or a case of soft drinks, although we're pretty sure we know which one most stag groups will go for. It's also possible to add extra kegs for an additional fee if you fancy it. Realistically, 10 litres might only get you started, especially if you're heading to the clubs afterwards.
What You Should Know Before Booking
- The soccer bowling venue is outside Cologne's main city centre. You can get there by taking the S-Bahn to Lövenich and then catching a bus. If you'd rather not go through the hassle of using public transport, Pissup also offers private transfers for groups. It's only around 20 minutes by road each way.
- The maximum booking size is 20 people, so you can have up to 10 playing in each lane.
- Consider wearing comfortable, sporty clothing instead of jeans. Although it's not strenuous, you'll still have to kick a football.
