Are you ready for some go karting with augmented reality? The scene is set: projectors are mounted to the ceiling as they light up the space with dynamic circuits and game modes, turning the room into a full-on racing experience for you and the boys. Your high-tech karts will be designed with sensors, blending real-world driving with visuals that will have you feeling like you're competing in an F1 race.

You’ll be behind the wheel of an actual kart, hitting serious speeds and steering like you would on any normal track. The only difference is you’re racing through the darkness, guided by projections on the floor. It’s all right there in front of you, ready to take you for the craziest ride ever.

What to Expect

At the arena, you’ll get a full briefing from an instructor before heading out onto the track. Only single-seat karts are used, so everyone will be driving solo. But be aware that all drivers must be at least 1.45 metres tall to take part.

Unlike your typical karting setup, this experience is built with safety in mind, so there’s no need for helmets. Just strap in and race into the action. When it comes to speed, each kart is automatically set to suit the game modes you choose, so everything’s prepped and ready to go before you hit the track.

Some of the game modes on offer include BattleRace, BattleSnake, BattleColor, BattleFoot, BattleVirus, and BattlePool. You’ll get to choose two options to play during your 40-minute slot, each of which lasts around 15 minutes, and the remaining time is reserved for entering and exiting the vehicles.

What You Should Know Before Booking This Activity

• Twelve karts can race on the track at the same time.
